The 405 uses an innovative feed-forward technique that wasn't quite implemented as well as it could have been in the early designs. The 34 uses ICs and is perhaps not quad's finest hour. The FM4 is a peach. Overall not breathtaking but a very civilised setup, and the styling is clean and functional.
