When people ask what is the best amplifier for driving Quad ESL 57s (in our opinion the greatest loudspeaker ever made) this one keeps coming up. That speaker can be harmed by more than 25w, and the biasing fully into class A (among other things) produces a sweet, detailed sound and a warm sitting room.
It also works wonderfully into many other speakers! Just serviced.
