Does a pretty convincing job with a pair of powered speakers. And a lot easier to service than the sony PS-f5 and PS-f9 (which almost all have something wrong with them). This could almost be your only record player, and it will not shred your records (please don't say or think the word 'crosley'). I played one for a week setting up the shop through a big amp / speaker combo and everyone loved it. Works on batteries and has some proper phono outs...
